Evidence based and relational counselling for those who want more than surface level support.
You may be the person others depend on. The one who thinks deeply, feels deeply, and keeps functioning even when your internal world feels heavy.
Maybe you are exhausted from masking. Maybe your emotions feel intense and difficult to regulate. Maybe you are questioning whether ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, burnout, or emotional trauma has shaped more of your life than you realized.
Therapy here is not about forcing you into a version of yourself that feels smaller or easier for others. It is about understanding your nervous system, your patterns, your relationships, and your story with more clarity and compassion.
I’m Hannah Tan, the therapist behind The Right Room. I created this practice for adults who are tired of being misunderstood, oversimplified, or reduced to a diagnosis.
My work is evidence based, but not mechanical. I integrate approaches like IPSRT, DBT, ACT, and CBT while staying connected to the person in front of me. Therapy should help you understand your patterns, your nervous system, your relationships, and your story with more clarity and compassion.
These reflections come from colleagues who know how I think, how I work, and how I show up in relationship. They speak to the values behind The Right Room: depth, clarity, compassion, and care for complexity.
